Connect and grow your business inside Ireland's premier aviation and aerospace innovation hub.
Our Shannon Campus is home to the largest aerospace and aviation community in Ireland, with over 80 firms employing over 3,000 and growing steadily. Located across Shannon Airport and the business park spans the entire industry value chain, encompassing everything from aircraft leasing, maintenance and recycling to component manufacture, parts repair and business aviation.
For aviation businesses the location is ideal, with two large business parks directly adjacent to the airport, airside development possibilities and an adjoining large land bank available for further development. It is also highly appealing to executives and employees, set amidst the spectacular scenery of Ireland’s rugged Atlantic coast with two vibrant university cities nearby.
Companies locating here have access to a good mix of young, well-educated talent, a highly competitive tax environment and a legislative and regulatory framework specifically geared to the needs of the aviation and aerospace sectors.
Raise Each Other Higher
The main goal of our aviation community group is to facilitate opportunities for our aviation and aerospace members that help them to reach further and grow their business at all levels.
This year, The Shannon Airport Group sponsored the first Women in Aviation Midwest networking event inside the renowed Shannon Aviation Museum. This event was a resounding success, with over 150 women working in the aviation and aerospace sectors from Limerick and Clare in attendance to collaborate and form synergies.

We are proud to say this will be the first of many Women in Aviation Midwest events to come, and all sector companies in our region are welcome to take part. If your company is interested in joining or sponsoring our next event please contact rita.meehan@shannonproperties.ie or visit the WOMEN IN AVIATION - MID-WEST REGION website.
