Shannon Airport Welcomes New Ryanair Service to Milan Bergamo for Summer 2027
Wednesday 4th November 2026: Shannon Airport has today welcomed Ryanair's announcement of a new Summer 2027 service between Shannon Airport and Milan Bergamo, further expanding the airport's European route network and strengthening connectivity with Italy.
Commencing on 28th March 2027, the service will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays. Located in one of Europe's most popular regions for both leisure and business travellers, Milan Bergamo provides convenient access to Milan, the Italian Lakes and the wider Lombardy area.
The route is expected to generate an estimated 25,000 additional seats as part of Shannon Airport's Summer 2027 programme, supporting inbound tourism and regional economic activity while giving customers even greater travel choice.
